Cynthia Frelund is NFL Network’s first on-air analytics expert and can be seen across a variety of NFL Media shows and platforms. During the week, Frelund can be seen on Fantasy Live and Game Day View and on Game Day Morning on Sunday.



Frelund’s proprietary data analytics models, which she coded herself, give her a one-of-a-kind view into football analytics and statistical projections. Frelund continues to pioneer innovation in sports data and analytics through a variety of platforms including her very own Numbers Game.


Frelund joined the NFL from ESPN, where she was a Predictive Analytics Analyst focusing on the NFL, college football, NFL and NBA drafts, MLB, golf and horse racing. Prior to that, she honed her data craft at Disney ABC Television Group and as a finance analyst for the NFL.


Frelund graduated from Boston College with a B.S. in Biology before receiving her MBA from Kellogg in Finance, Entrepreneurship and Innovation as well as an MS in Predictive Analytics, also from Northwestern University.
